Africa !

This year’s trip to Africa was remarkable and impactful. Although the weather was cooler than usual, the mission's success was outstanding. Over 14,000 people accepted the message of Jesus Christ, and more than 8,000 began discipleship. The trip also led to the planting of over 40 new churches. Among the many miracles witnessed were the healing of the lame and the blind, the alleviation of pain, and the granting of forgiveness and salvation. Lions and Lambs sponsored six missionaries from the US and Dominican Republic, provided 50 evangelical soccer balls with pumps, over 100 pump needles, and other supplies. They also donated a new piano and drum set to two churches. Their are many more pictures and content on our Facebook and Instagram pages links at the very bottom or on our website. The trip was extraordinary, and an invitation is extended for you and others to join next year.

Malawi in relationship to the rest of the World. Malawi is 1 of 54 countries in Africa and ranks 174 out of 189 poorest countries in the world. Malawi, with its capital in Lilongwe, is led by President Peter Mutharika and has a population of 18,143,315 as of 2018, according to the World Bank. The country uses the Malawian Kwacha (MWK) as its currency and is bordered by Zambia, Tanzania, and Mozambique. Covering an area of 118,000 km² (45,560 sq mi), Malawi's official languages are English and Chichewa. It gained independence from the UK on July 6, 1964. The climate is subtropical, with a rainy season from December to May and a dry season from May to December. Notably, Malawi is considered safer than both England and the USA
